Blackhawk Country Club Tournament

07.17.12 - Penny's 6th tournament was at an exclusive country club in Blackhawk.  I was actually a little disappointed when I saw the course, though.  Maybe having the houses around kind of took away from the nature feel of golf courses.  But, we heard it was a hard course and it was.  Penny and I practiced putting everyday but she didn't go to the range or hit full swings for a few days and so she wasn't hit as far or straight on her driver shots.  Her putting was awesome, though.  We rewarded her with a new putter, one that would help her with her putting better.  It was a woman's putter that we custom fit to her height and grip.  Penny hit a 49 which was her highest score ever on the tour.  But she still got 3rd place!  Nice work Penny!
