My Little Puzzle Master

07.25.13 - Pepper, your puzzle skills for your age are truly amazing.  You sure are a smart little girl.  You received a bunch of new puzzles for 6+ yrs old, but you seem to have no problem doing them.  You truly are a puzzle master.

 07.22.13 - Today Uncle Daniel said he'd babysit you for a couple hours after summer camp while we were at Penny's La Rinconada golf tournament. So he brought you to Fairyland!

 
07.26.13 - Few days later, he brought you over to Aimee's place and they took you out to swim for a little while.  You were so excited to have this playdate today!

07.22.13 - Today's tourney was far in San Jose.  We had never played here before.  Not only that, but Daddy had an important meeting and couldn't caddy for you.... which meant Mommy had to do it.  I was pretty nervous about doing it because it was the first time for me.  How could I be your caddy when you play better than me!  Regardless, it was really nice spending time with you.  I see why Daddy loves playing golf with you.  But like you showed us at Corica, you do well on your own.  I helped you a little with aim, but your putts were awesome!  You shot 43 today, almost enough to get 1st (42) and you did it all by yourself!  Give yourself a big pat on the back!

JGANC 2013 Churck Corica

07.08.13 & 07.09.13 - You made a hard decision today between playing the Blackhawk tourney with US Kids or playing in a JGANC 2 day tourney at Corica.  JGANC tourneys do not allow caddies, so today you were all alone.  I'm sorry if I doubted you.  I thought you would need with aiming your putts and club shots.  Boy, was I wrong!  You were amazing.  You had great putts and aimed just fine!  In round 1, you placed 1st, beating Ella Vu, a very experienced tournament 9 yr old.  I think she was pretty upset and surprised because when you played with her last year, you weren't the same player you are this year.  A drastic improvement!  You won the first round by a lot of strokes and so in round 2, Ella beating you by 1 stroke really didn't make a difference.  Not only did you get this awesome trophy, but you got a cash reward of $25 to spend in the pro-shop!  And let's not forget winning the Longest Shot trophy too.  Two trophies and cash!  Wow!

Happy July 4th 2013!

07.04.13 - This 4th of July we spent in Alameda with the Furuichi-Fong's, watching the parade.  We've gone to the parade a few times now but it was nice to hang out with close friends.  We miss the FF's but we're happy that we still spend time together.  After the parade, all the kids went swimming and then in the evening, we tried to find some local fireworks to end the night.

101 Dalmations - Pepper's First Musical Performance

07.03.13 - Pepper was in her first musical performance tonight, The 101 Dalmations!  You were picked to be one of the puppies.  I wasn't sure how you'd behave.  I thought you'd be a little wild, having too much fun.  But, you surprised me.  You knew all your lines and songs!  You were so good Pepper!  I hope to see you do more musicals.  Good performance!
