Pepper's first sleepover!

Pepper has waited patiently to turn 7 so she can finally sleep over at a friend's house. Tonight she and Penny went to sleepover at Maya and Sophie's (Ryan and Nicole were there too). I heard the youngsters didn't go to bed until midnight and the Unni's went to bed at 2!  Hope you had fun Pepper!

RIP Biscuit

Today we lost our beloved pet hamster, Biscuit. It is a very sad day for us. Girls were crying. It was actually kinda nice having him around. Daddy especially took to him. We'll miss you Biscuit!  Hope you're having fun running around in hamster heaven.

This year you decided you wanted a outdoor bike theme birthday party. We planned fun outdoor activities like relay races and obstacle courses. We provided fun bike beads for spokes and got to decorate helmets and bike license plates. Hope you had a fun birthday!  We love you Pepper!

First Day of School 2015-2016

Today was the first day of 1st and 5th grade, our 2nd year at Bay Farm Elementary.  Penny was so excited about starting school again she could barely get a hold of herself.  Penny was assigned to Miss Booth's class and initially she was a tiny bit disappointed (she was her 2nd choice), but she found out that Lauren was in the same class.  She soon learned that Miss Booth is really nice and loves her new class.  Pepper has Mrs Wilson, a mother of 4 kids who also attend Bay Farm school.  She seems really sweet and patient.  I'll be Room Parent for her this year and hope I have a good classroom!  Here's to a great new school year!  Penny I hope you enjoy your last year at Bay Farm.

A new range finder!

Daddy said he'd reward Pepper with a brand new range finder if she shot a 50 or better on the MIF. There were so close calls like the 51 you shot!  But today, you shot a 49 and we surprised you with one!  So proud you Peps!  You're golf game is really looking great.

Pepper was starting to look like a snaggletooth.  Both her top front teeth were protruding out and at all different angles.  When she smiled, all you would see were her 2 front teeth.  You look so cute now Pepper!

US Kids Golf Summer Tour 2015 - San Ramon Golf Club

Today was the first day of Pepper's US Kids Summer Tour.  There were 3 girls.  Asterisk, Armani and you.  You shot a 55 and got 2nd place!  What a way to start your tour!

Meet Biscuit - newest addition to our family!

For Penny's 10th birthday, her BFF Lauren Pustelnik got her her first pet.  A dwarf hamster she named Biscuit.  He's really small and cute and gets scared really easily.  We are hoping that Penny takes good care of him and can show us how responsible she is.  Welcome Biscuit!

JGANC Girls 7-9 - Pleasanton Golf Center

4.26.15 Penny had a week long Spring Break golf camp with Coach Rick and we thought, "eh, let's see how she does in a tournament.  And since it was her last tourney before she ages up, we thought we'd give it a try.  We tried to do "crazy practice" but it was hard because it's softball season.  Any free moment we had, we spent practicing chipping and putting.  And thank god we did!  Penny's short game got her 1st place!  She shot a 35 which was 5 over par for that short course.  I'm extremely proud of you, Penny.  Pepper said you'd get first!  This just shows how much talent you have.  Awesome way to end your 7-9 age group for JGANC.  Nice job!

Swinging Skirts LPGA Championships - Lake Merced Golf Course 2015

04.24.15 Ha! Almost exactly 1 year later, I write again in my blog about my beautiful girls.  Today, Penny and our friends, the Stewarts, are at the Swinging Skirts.  Pepper and I were supposed to go but Pepper has had a high fever for the last 3 days!  I just heard that they met Michelle Wie and is currently watching Lydia Ko.  So cool!  Pepper, we promise to take you next year.  Just don't get sick!

Pepper learns to ride her 2 wheeler!

A couple weeks prior to today, the girls and I went to visit the cousin's beach house near Half Moon Bay.  All the kids were riding their 2 wheeler bikes to the beach and Pepper was feeling left out.  After a couple days of trying, Pepper got it and has loved riding her bike since then!
