08.26.13 - First day of 3rd grade has finally come.  You've been so excited to start 3rd grade and it's here!  I hope you like 3rd grade, Mrs Sanders and all the new friends you'll make.  I'm excited for you Penny!  I know you'll be the top student!

08.23.13 - I wanted to tell you Pepper that you are still so amazing at doing puzzles.  You really love them, especially the challenging ones.  You're so smart.

New braces!

08.16.13 - Your new orthodontist's name is Dr Sammann.  You were brave today and you look so cute!

Last day before braces

08.15.13 - It is your last day before you get braces!  You were pretty nervous about getting them but excited at the same time.  Can't wait to see your new smile!

Alameda Junior Golf Assoc Championships

08.14.13 - The Chuck Corica Jr Golf Championships were today.  As usual you played awesome and placed 1st in the Girls 7-9 age division.  The trophy was awesome!

US Kids Golf Summer Tour Championships 2013 - Ruby Hill

08.12.13 - We decided to take it easy this year and even missed 2 tourneys due to some JGANC tourneys we decided to do instead.  Although you placed 5th, overall, you were a close 2nd place!  You played so awesome this tour.  I'm super proud of the golfer you've become.  You amaze me. 
It was the last day to play with Alex Buntin Nakamura since she had to go back to Hawaii.  You guys grew pretty close and I'm just happy you're making friends along the way.  Great Summer tour Penny!

JGANC Monarch Bay 2013

08.08.13 - Today was a JGANC tourney at Monarch Bay, Penny's home course.  We expected that she should do well considering how much she plays on this course.  But, I guess it was an off day for you.  Can't win them all.  I felt bad for Coach Rick because he really wanted you to do well.  I think he felt responsible.  But still, you did a great job and we're all proud of you!

Having Fun in Raleigh, NC

08.04.13 - After the World Championships, we had a full day after checkout to do something fun outside of Pinehurst.  We drove an hour to Raleigh and checked out a cool kids museum.  It was a really cool museum and lots of fun activities and role play.  I think Pepper had the most fun here.  You deserved it though.  It's not easy following Penny around in tournaments in really hot, humid weather.
