Last Day of Pre-K for Pepper!
06.28.13 - It was a happy and sad day for me today. My little girl's last day of Pre-K was today but it was a big day for you so I was happy. I know you'll love your Kindergarten teachers and you'll see your Pre-K teachers every day at recess.

US Kids Golf 2013 State Championships
06.24.13 & 06.25.13 - Las Positas GC
Today was first day of the 2 day State Championships. You got paired up with Hannah Harrison on the first round, who's been playing golf for much longer than you. She was tough competition even though she was a very small 9 year old. The second day, you were paired with Oneeka, a rookie. Although you placed 5th (Hannah was 1st), we are very proud of you. You can't win them all!

GRIP trial
6.22.13 - Today we went to GRIP to see if it was a program you'd be interested in. There were tons of kids and you made friends with Alex and Alice. Man! You make it look so easy! You have a beautiful swing Penny. Keep up the good work!
While Penny was practicing, me and Pepper went to this cool park in Pleasanton. I can't remember the name but it was a really unique park. Pepper had a lot of fun on it.

US Kids Golf Summer Tour 2013 - SJ Municpal
6.20.13 - San Jose Municipal
We traveled a bit far for this tourney but we had never been to this course before and made our trek. You had another great game today even though we had to do a scorecard play off and got 2nd place. You and Alice tied but she had better rounds on her last 5 holes... and just by 1! It was a little disappointing because you played so well, but those are the rules. If we had just went back 6 holes, you would have got 1st because you had a birdie on that hole. That's OK. You still played awesome. You'll always be a winner in my eyes.

06.17.13 - Crow Canyon Golf Course
Today was the first day of the Summer Tour in your new age group, 8-9 yr old girls. We knew you'd be one of the younger kids playing with the more experienced 9 yr olds but we new you'd still do well and have fun. We had absolutely no expectations and really just wanted you to play your best and have fun. Who knew you'd place 1st?! Wow, you had such a great game. I was pleasantly surprised by your win! Awesome play today, Penny, I'm so proud of you. What a great way to start the tour!
