Night skating!

1.21.13 - Today was the last day our skating rink would be open.  So, I promised the girls to take them after dinner.  It was so cool skating with the disco lights on.  It was cold but worth it!

Winter Tour 2012 - Franklin Canyon

1.20.13 - Penny's 6th tournament was at Franklin Canyon.  This one was interesting because the times you practiced here with Daddy, you shot under 40.  You and Kiara were head to head through 7 holes and unfortunately you had a blow up hole and got 7 on this hole when she parred.  You still played amazing and everyone, I mean everyone gets blow up holes.  You still got 3rd place!  You always come back strong and that's why I'm so proud of you.

Winter Tour 2012 - Tilden Park

1.12.13 - Tilden Park is a very hilly course.  A tough course.  But, we had an advantage:  we lived the closest to it.  So, to take advantage of this, for 4 straight days after school, I brought Penny to practice her putting.  For 1 to 1 1/2 hours each day, I drilled her.  Short putts, long putts, and chipping.  It even sprinkled on us but we just brought out our umbrella and practiced, practiced and practiced.  Daddy was away on a business trip so it was important that I did my part and helped you with the best practice I could do.  I wish I could have made it a little more fun then and I'm definitely working on trying to make it fun while we are serious.  But, your hard work paid off and won 1st place AGAIN.  Back to back wins.  I was proud of you.  And I was a little proud of myself that I helped you with your putting game.  I guess that's how Daddy feels every time he sees you golf.

Winter Tour 2012 - Monarch Bay

1.6.13 - Penny's tournament was at Monarch Bay today.  Our home course.  She knows most of the staff and they were all rooting for her.  The pressure was on her today.  I knew she could do it though.  No one comes on our turf and pushes us around.  Penny shot 1 under par.  My goodness.  You went above and beyond and really showed us all how well you play.  We felt bad for Varnika because she shot par golf, but still didn't get 1st place.  Phew, that was close Penny!  But you rocked it!
