Boundary Oak Tournament

06.28.12 -  Penny's 3rd tournament at Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek.  She did very well.  In fact, I think I was the proudest at this game.  On hole 14 (5th), she got 10 strokes!  She didn't do so well on this hole but then, she shook off her frustration and bounced back to win 3rd place!  Penny, you're a fighter and we couldn't be more proud!

Yikes, 10 strokes!

Yay, 3rd place!

Golf Sisters

06.25.12 - Penny and Pepper love to golf.  At least that's what they tell us.  I hope they really mean it and someday, after all the practicing and tournaments, that they actually love the game.  More than getting a scholarship and winning trophies, I want them to be passionate about something that can help them in the future.

So cute

06.21.12 - While Daddy was on his business trip, Pepper had asked if she could sleep in my bed with me.  I said no.  I accidentally left my PJ top in her room, and when I went to check on her, I saw it under her head!  So cute!  And look what she did with all her stuffed animals!  Pepper you make me laugh and smile.

Las Positas Tournament

06.18.12 - Today was the 2nd tournament of the tour.  We didn't think Penny was going to be able to play today.  On Saturday she got a bad mosquito bite which she had a bad reaction to.  Her left hand was swollen and she said it hurt.  We were pretty sure we were going to WD.  However, this morning we asked her how she felt and she said she wanted to go, so we iced her hand, gave her some benadryl and we went!  Today, Daddy's friend, Soup, had to caddy because Daddy had to go on a business trip.  He was so sad to miss today.  He loves caddying for Penny.  It's good that Penny stuck with it all the way to the end because she got 3rd place!  I'm starting to see that Penny has a lot of will and determination.  I'm so so proud of her today.  More than ever.

3rd Place!
