Movie time!

3.30.12 - The Lorax

While Mommy was at her friends for dinner, Daddy surprised the girls with tickets to the movie!  It was The Lorax in 3D.  This was Pepper's first movie at a theater.

3.28.12 - Rockin' Crawfish

While Mommy was in Chicago visiting her Aunt, Daddy took the girls to his favorite restaurant.  I love this picture because they both have the same smiles.  It's so cute.

Soccer!

3.19.12 - First day of soccer!

Penny has been wanting to play soccer with a team for awhile now so when she got accepted off the waitlist, we let her join.  A lot of the girls from her class are on the team so I'm hoping that she'll bond with some of these girls since Ani and Mia will be gone next school year.

Penny played so well!  I was really surprised.  She listened well and played hard.  She learned the game quickly and had so much fun.  I was really proud of her.

BFF

3.12.12 - BFF Ani

Ani is one of Penny's BFFs.  Mia is the other.  They're both moving and not attending RHS next year.  Ani actually already moved to Mountain View so she started her new school this past Monday.I'm really sad that Penny is losing her 2 BFFs.  I'm sure we'll see Mia around since I'm good friends with her mom.  Ani, Mia and Penny are the smartest girls in the whole first grade.  Now it's just Penny. I hope next year Penny will meet more smart and nice girls like Ani and Mia.

Penny and Ani had their last playdate before she moved away.  They play so well together.  I'll really miss having Ani in Penny's life.

03.10.12 - Celebrating Uncle Josh's Birthday

We celebrated Uncle Josh's birthday at Peasoup Andersens. It's Penny's favorite place for soup!  The girls had fun with their cousins.

Lake Tahoe Ski Trip

3.01.12 - Tahoe trip with friends

We were invited by the Furuichi-Fong's to go up to Tahoe for a 3 night trip.  We left on Thursday so both girls missed school for 2 days.  Penny actually threw up 3 times before we left and so we thought we wouldn't be able to go!  Apparently she had eaten some old, old Halloween chocolate and it got her sick.  After a few hours, she was back to her normal self so we caravaned with Kristin/Mia and the Hopkins family.  The boys and Darren and Crx left at 4:30AM to try to get some extra runs in, but there was a blizzard and the resorts were closed.  We finally arrived at the cabin and saw the boys shoveling the driveway.  What perfect timing!

All the families had fun eating dinners, lunches and breakfasts together.  We played games, watched movies, talked and had a really fun time.

03.02.12 - Today was a somewhat relaxing day for all the girls.  We let them play in the snow after breakfast and then they lounged a little and after lunch, we decided to go sledding!

That night we had karaoke night!

03.03.12 - Ski lessons!

All the girls except Nadia and Pepper took ski lessons.  I was so proud of Penny.  Her and Mia did a full day and didn't quit.  I know they were tired too.  Penny went down the hill without falling many times!  She did so well.  We think, though, that we'll put her in snowboard school next year.

On our last night, we went to the arcades.  The girls got some tokens and won enough tickets to win prizes.  Penny got a cute dolphin necklace and pepper got a pink teddy bear.

03.04.12 - Last day of Tahoe

All we did today was clean up and get packed.  We had so much fun! The girls love the snow and I hope they remember these good times with family and friends.
